What the helper does, and what to do when the panel says it isn’t running or needs a restart.

What is the helper?
Brandreforge Helper is a small background app the installer adds. It starts when you log in and handles activation, licence refreshes, cloud backup and share links, and talks to your AI provider for AI Studio and Mockups. Your AI keys are kept in the Keychain by the helper.
Your plan keeps working offline without it. You need it to activate a Mac, refresh the licence, back up projects and generate with AI.
“The Brandreforge helper isn’t answering”
Open Account & cloud in the panel and choose Start the helper, then try again.
If that doesn’t help, check that Brandreforge Helper is switched on in System Settings › General › Login Items, then log out and back in.
“Brandreforge Helper did not start”
Check that Brandreforge Helper is on in System Settings › General › Login Items, then choose Start the helper again. If it’s missing there, run the installer from the download page again.
Still stuck? The helper keeps a log in your Library › Logs › BrandReforge folder (helper.log). Email it to support@brandreforge.com.
“Restart the Brandreforge helper to finish updating”
Run the latest installer from the download page: it restarts the helper with the new version. If you still see the message, log out of your Mac and back in. The same fix applies to “Your Brandreforge helper is out of date”.
“The helper took too long to answer”
Wait a moment and try again. Long AI generations keep running in the background, so check Recent generations or My mockups before starting another one.
