Terms of Service

The service

Brandreforge is an extension for Adobe Illustrator on macOS, with an online account at brandreforge.com for licensing, billing, cloud backup and share links. It is provided and sold by Theepa Studio (United Arab Emirates), “we” in these terms, and these terms are an agreement between you and Theepa Studio. By creating an account, starting a trial or using the software you agree to them. If you use Brandreforge for a company, you agree on its behalf.

Plans and add-ons

  • Essentials: Logo grids, Logo files, Presentations, on up to one Mac at a time.
  • Pro: Logo grids, Logo files, Presentations, Brand guidelines, Mockups, AI Studio, Cloud & sharing, on up to two Macs at a time.
  • Studio: Logo grids, Logo files, Presentations, Brand guidelines, Mockups, AI Studio, Cloud & sharing, on up to five Macs at a time.
  • Add-ons unlock a single module on a plan that doesn’t include it, or add one more Mac per Extra Mac (up to 8). Add-ons follow the billing period and renewal date of your plan.
  • Current prices, in US dollars, are on the pricing page. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout where it applies.

Free trial

  • Each account may start one 3-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it, and nothing is charged at the start.
  • The trial converts automatically into the plan, add-ons and billing period you chose, and the first payment is taken when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
  • We email you a reminder about a day before the trial ends. You can cancel any time from Account › Billing, and access ends when the trial does.

Billing and automatic renewal

  • Plans are charged in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Charges show on your statement as BRANDREFORGE.COM.
  • We email you about a week before a yearly plan renews.
  • Upgrades and new add-ons take effect immediately and are charged pro rata for the rest of the period. Downgrades and removed add-ons leave a credit on your next invoice.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days and we email you so you can update your card. If it still can’t be collected, the plan ends and modules lock.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel any time from Account › Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period (or at the end of the trial), and you keep access until then. You can resume before that date.

You can ask for a full refund of your first payment within 2 days of it. After that, payments are final: renewals, unused time and part periods aren’t refunded. Mistakes on our side are always put right, and any refund rights you have under the law where you live still apply. The details are in our refund policy.

Price changes

We may change prices. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and it takes effect from your next renewal after that notice. If you don’t want to continue at the new price, cancel before the renewal.

Your licence and Macs

  • Your plan may be active on as many Macs at once as it includes, plus any Extra Macs you add. Each Mac is approved from your account. To move to a new Mac, remove the old one in Account › Macs.
  • The licence works offline and checks in with brandreforge.com at least once every 7 days. If it can’t, modules lock until it can.
  • The installer adds the panel and Brandreforge Helper, a background app that runs while you’re logged in to keep the licence current, back up projects and run AI features. Uninstall them any time with “Uninstall BrandReforge”.
  • Essentials and Pro are for one person. Studio may be shared by the members of one studio or team, within its Mac limit.
  • Don’t share, resell or sublicense your account, and don’t reverse engineer, modify or bypass the licence checks.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Brandreforge, its cloud backup or share links to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • create or distribute material that is deceptive, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative;
  • upload malware, probe or overload our systems, or get around rate limits or security measures;
  • generate content that breaks the terms of the AI provider you connected.

We may suspend accounts or remove share links that break these rules, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Your work

You own everything you create with Brandreforge, including the files it generates from your artwork. You are responsible for having the rights to the artwork, fonts and images you use, and for checking generated material before giving it to clients. Keep your own backups of client work; cloud backup is a convenience, not an archive.

AI features

AI Studio, AI mockups and smart checks run through an AI provider you connect yourself (for example your ChatGPT login or your own API key), under that provider’s terms and at your cost. Nothing is sent until you ask. AI output can be inaccurate, can change your logo’s lettering or proportions, and can resemble existing work. We don’t guarantee that it is original, accurate or free to use commercially. Review and clear it before you deliver it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable and to give notice of planned downtime, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or retire features; if we remove a module from a plan you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Liability

Brandreforge is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Account › Settings after cancelling any active plan. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes to these terms

We’ll update the date above when these terms change and email you about significant changes before they take effect.
