Get Brandreforge for Illustrator.
One installer for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It adds the panel and a small helper, and replaces any earlier version.

Four steps, about two minutes.
- Save your workSave any open Illustrator documents.
- Open the installerOpen BrandReforge.pkg from your Downloads folder, follow the steps and enter your Mac’s password when asked.
- Restart IllustratorQuit Illustrator completely (Cmd+Q), open it again and choose Window › Extensions › Brandreforge.
- Activate this MacIn the panel, open Account and choose Activate this Mac. Your browser opens brandreforge.com/activate with a code: check it matches the panel, then approve.

What gets installed
- The Brandreforge panel for Illustrator, for everyone who uses this Mac.
- Brandreforge Helper, a small background app that starts when you log in. It keeps your licence up to date, backs up projects and runs AI features. macOS shows a “Background Items Added” notice for it; that’s expected.
No Node.js or Terminal needed. If Brandreforge Helper is switched off in System Settings › General › Login Items, the panel can’t activate or refresh your licence.
AI features
AI Studio and AI mockups use your own AI account: sign in to OpenAI’s Codex app with ChatGPT on this Mac, or paste an OpenAI API key in AI Studio › Connections. Everything else works without one.
Uninstall
In the Finder choose Go › Go to Folder…, enter /Library/Application Support/BrandReforge and open Uninstall BrandReforge. Your projects stay in your own Library › Application Support › BrandReforge folder.
To free this Mac’s place on your plan, choose Account › Deactivate this Mac in the panel first, or remove it in Account › Macs.
